GigaTest Training

We offer training courses on Signal Integrity and Interconnect Design. In both public presentations and on site at your facility, we accelerate engineers up the learning curve with a unique set of features not found in other Signal Integrity courses. Read what some of our past participant are saying about our courses in the Testimonials section.

To view a complete schedule of when the next courses will be held, see the Schedule and Sign Up section.

Unless otherwise noted, all of the above public courses are two day lecture demos and can be presented on site at your facility. Contact Harry Christie for more details!

Classes are held in Sunnyvale, California unless otherwise specified. For hotel information in the area, click here.

Currently available courses
GTL122a, b Fundamental Principles of Signal Integrity Enroll
In this two day lecture demo course, the basic principles such as characteristic impedance, differential impedance, switching noise, cross talk and inductance are presented intuitively with little mathematics. This course is a foundation building course for anyone involved in signal integrity.
GTL250a, b High Speed Board Design Enroll
In this two day lecture demo course, all the important signal integrity effects found in circuit boards operating at and above 1 GHz, are introduced, analyzed and demonstrated. These include differential pairs, reference plane selection, switching noise, vias, impedance discontinuities, lossy line effects, power distribution system and EMI. This is not a basics course.
GTL260a, b High Bandwidth Interconnect Models from Measurement Enroll
In this two day lecture demo course, the techniques used to build high bandwidth (>10 GHz) models of packages, connectors and PCB traces from TDR and VNA measurements are presented. Impedance profiles, TDR profiles and S parameters are introduced. This is not a basics course.
